As the title says, where did those couple of months go? I know its been a busy few months working for at my full time job and spending a fair amount of time away, but I never thought it would fly by that quickly. So just a little flavour of what has been going on outside of the full time job; back in January I popped along to the SWPP convention up in London to take a look at what is going on within the industry and catch up with some old friends which is always a great way to start the year. I have been along to a number of photography training events and of course helping out The Photographer Academy team at the Photography Show last month up at the NEC which was a great event.
Something new I had never been to before was the Gadget Show held again at the NEC earlier this month where once again I helped out on The Photographer Academy stand. This was a very different show for us but it was full of surprises, the Beautiful Beast below is a character from a game and she came and had a photo session with us during the show, an outstanding costume and she was just one of many.
I have been working on a new style of signature image for my photography business, a classic Boudoir photography genre but all in Black and White to enhance that classical feel, my name for this beautiful creation is BoudNoir. Below you will see a couple of images from session I have conducted to date. The emphasis is Sensual, Seductive Stunning, keeping the images as voyeuristic as possible for that classical look with the black and white approach giving it that timeless appeal.

Personal Project
For those of you that have been following my photographic development path, you will know that I owe a lot of what I learnt to The Photographers Academy and in particular being an Apprentice to Mark Cleghorn for a year. Well I am pleased to announce that we are back filming with them again, as many of the followers wanted to know what we had been up to in the years following the Apprentice year and how we had developed. This next cycle of training is designed to push our skills to develop new, well new to us, techniques and try new concepts. Over that past month or 2, I have been working on a personal project where I explored the use of light in the studio to define muscle tone and shape. These shoots have been on a Male Model, a Russian Hip Hop and Street Dancer and a female Body Builder. Below are a couple of images from the Dancer.
